Oh, hello. I didn't see you there. It is I, Sir Neon 'Titty Meister' Octopus. I know there has been a lot of controversy over the size of Samus's mammary glands in the new Smash Bros. game. So I thought I'd take an objective look at Samus's ever changing boobs throughout her career in Nintendo both in Metroid and Smash Bros

Metroid 1:



As we can see here, Samus is sporting both a leotard and a 2-piece bikini, depending on how fast you've completed Metroid 1. It is pretty difficult to judge the size of her breasts given the limitations of the NES but I believe they are large due to the fact that their width goes all way to her arms in that pose

Metroid 2:



Well the Gameboy certainly added more detail to Samus's sprite since they opted to use a larger sprite for the ending. But as you can clearly see, her breasts are pretty ample in this iteration >_>

Fun fact: it's speculated that this attire is a reference to that famous shot of Ripley in the Alien franchise


Super Metroid:



They're definitely toned down a bit in Super. It's hard to see the dimensions in game because the death screen is so fast and the frontward facing Samus in the ending is just a mess of dark pixels on her torso

Fun fact: This design of Samus was apparently based on actress Kim Basinger



Metroid Fusion:





Samus's boobs are definitely not as big as the first 2 games but they still have a presence. I'm glad being fused with your power suit didn't hamper them >_>

Metroid Zero Mission:







Now this is the look most people are familar with when they think of Samus without her Varia Suit. In this first appearance of "Zero Suit Samus" you can tell they held nothing back for her boobs and ass >_> They definitely wanted to portray Samus as a woman with a very attractive body

Metroid Prime 2:



This is Samus's first appearance in the "Zero Suit" as a 3D model. I'm personally not a fan of this iteration because the face looks really weird >_> But anyways it's hard to see since they only do a quick scan up her body, but she definitely has some medium boobs.

Metroid Prime Hunters:



Another game I personally never played (and never WANT to play >__>) but I've seen enough memeage to get the gist of it. I like it this design besides the stupid mole on her chin (but I digress, this topic isn't about that, it's about boobs). It's very obvious they put all their chips into her boobs (and ass) in this design as they're one of the largest renditions of her breasts in the series

Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS:




Samus's latest appearance in Smash Bros. It's obviously based on the Other M design and they pulled no stops in her breasts in this version either >_> Cuz holy moly, they are there lol.

Metroid 2: Samus Returns:



Samus's latest design in the Metroid series and still carrying that Zero Suit torch. As you can see in this rendition of herself, her breasts (and ass) are definitely large and defined.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate:

And here we are in the present day. Samus definitely got a huge downgrade in her breasts from Smash 4. While not that small, they're definitely more in line with Prime 2/3 than Other M

As you can see, Samus's boobs have taken a variety of shapes throughout the ages, though most iterations of her tits are definitely on the larger side more often than the smaller side. IDGAF who Nintendo puts in Smash. It could be Geno, Tommy Vercetti, Chuck Norris, or Godzilla. I'm not buying a game which flattens Samus. :v

I guess I was always partial to her in Zero Mission since that was the first Metroid I played. But the Samus Returns one is really good.
