Black day of the German Army in WW1:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Amiens_(1918) Germany's most recent gigantic, expensive push on the front lines of the western front failed, as usual. German intelligence decided that it didn't matter because the Entente didn't have the power to launch an offensive push. Then suddenly the British, French, Australians, Canadians and Americans all rolled in with hundreds of tanks out of no where and beat the shit out of them. With thousands of German officers/soldiers flat out surrendering in utter fear and terror within a few hours of fighting due to how badly they were getting obliterated.
