I don't think I have ever seen someone say I'm a reasonable poster. I think most people, at least here, only think people are reasonable because they agree with them, to some extent.

I think they should cut him not because of his opinion, but because I think his attitude will harm the overall product of Guardians 3. He literally said he's only doing the film out of obligation. That won't translate well to film imo.

I'm not saying Bautista is wrong for standing for what he believes in, I'm just saying if Disney cares about the quality of their product then they should find a way to tie up Drax's story

Those all tie in to the overall arc imo (except Guardians 2). I can go into detail, but I'm kind of too lazy to write like 10 paragraphs.

Refer to Black Panther why I thought it felt like it had purpose for the overall arc

Maybe Iron Man 3 was kind of pointless, I would have to think about it.

That came out much earlier though so the market was still less saturated than it is now.

I mean, there is arguably some future potential of Guardians 2 being connected.

the allusion to adam and the gold people in general may play a bigger part in future MCU movies.

Those first movies serve to introduce important characters to the MCU. Thor is important to the MCU, he's a major character.
In the same way Guardians introduced a bunch of important characters.
Guardians 2 introduced Mantis...
and she was kind of just thrown in the film. She could have been introduced in any movie.

I like Mantis though, Pom is a babe

I should probably mention I did not see Ant Man 2 because on face value it looks like it doesn't continue or contribute to the overall marvel story.

I haven't seen it though so I can't confirm.

Ben Shapiro went on some sort of left-leaning talk show. The guys fans were so angry at him that he had to issue an apology for having Ben on. They used old tweets from years ago as evidence that Ben was a bad person who shouldn't be given a platform. Gunn waded in to the situation of his own volition, arguing that the old tweets were indicative of Shapiro's current beliefs and are reason enough to believe that Ben is a bad person. In response, cernovich did the same.

It turns out people are a lot more willing to compromise on their beliefs if it means using somebody's own weapon against them.

Maybe I'm missing something but the only thing I've read on their spat was that Gunn said something about Shapiro making fun of a high schooler's grammer. And I'm guessing that was the thing that set it off?

Sort of. Duplass plugged Shapiro and after the backlash (fueled by a lot of in-the-moment drudging up of old tweets to show duplass that Ben was a bad person), Gunn took the "middle ground" by saying it was important to reach out to racists and bigots. People started @ spamming Gunn those same old tweets, but the only one gunn referenced was the grammar one.

It's basically impossible to find the original cernovich tweets because of how much garbage he tweets plus the fact that nobody reported on it, but it was always a "I can drudge up old tweets too" response

Edit: combined with the infamous fact that his response to the Roseanna drama was "if you tweet offensive stuff you should be fired"
