Yep. I popped onto GTA online recently to check out the nightclub shit. Everything you can buy in the game you actually would want will cost you an absolutely massive amount of money, with increasing costs with each update and shit.

No wonder they sell so much shark cards.

Apparently anyone new basically has to if they don't want to spend a shitload of time grinding. Everyone that bought a shark card is responsible when they focus on MP to the detriment of SP in future games

It's easy to like the online when you boot everyone out of a session. And given there's an easy method on both consoles to do it, i can see why the online has survived. Those that want to grind in peace can do so, and kids that want to blow their parent's money on instant gratification and pvp with others get their wish too.

If people actually played the game and weren't obsessed with owning every single worthless thing Rockstar releases they wouldn't need to buy Shark Cards tbqh.

All you need is a CEO Office and a Vehicle Warehouse and you're basically able to make a million dollars every 2.5 hours. Even if that is too much grinding, major updates literally release like 4-6 months apart.

Even if you just do one vehicle sale a day (which takes 25 minutes, tops), you'll make 11-17 million dollars by the time an update comes out.

Which is more than enough to cover the main things you want.

But the majority of GTA Online players are idiots who just want to waste money to troll people from my experience. That's why I just play in solo public sessions to get my money then fuck around in a regular session worry free.

GTA Online is such a ridiculous racket. It's so fucking easy to make money in the game if you actually play it right but these morons still spend hundreds on it.

Someone is going to complain that even starting those businesses costs money, but like fuck off if you weren't playing from the start yeah you gotta fucking earn it.

Rockstar did get kind of greedy with the random unlock buys in Gun Running but I think they pulled out after everyone bitched at them for making glorified lootboxes.

I think that's the weirdest thing about GTA Online. The casual console gamer population for that game must be absolutely massive. But yet whenever I play it I have no idea WTF to really do.
