I have things I consider 'good omens' but I accept that it is all in my head and that they are just placebos that remind me of good times.

Other than that, absolutely not. Not a single thing that can't be explained.

Then again she believes a lot of things have happened to her which obviously didn't.

It doesn't even make sense. Why would someone die just to wander around a cemetery for all eternity? Or open and close doors at random in someones house? It's fuckin unbelievably stupid.

Not that I'm defending it, but there is some internal logic here. Sometimes they don't know they are dead, trapped in a purgatory between life and death. Sometimes they are literally trapped by something physical or philosophical. Hell, Jehovah's Witnesses teach that there is no such thing as ghost, but that they are actually demons masquerading as dead loved ones.

It's been forever since she told me and I didn't care enough to memorize he details.

In general her view of the world has no basis in reality, logic, or even basic consistency.

Yeah they don't know they're dead? Because when were all alive we just wander cemeteries aimlessly. Again, unbelievably fucking stupid.

My mom said when we were young, one day when visiting our great grandma (who lived on like the 11th floor of a tall old folks apartment building), my sister went ahead and supposedly saw and talked to our grandpa (great grandma's son, our mother's father), in the livingroom area as the rest of us talked in the doorway. He passed away a year before I was born, and up to this age my sister had never seen a picture of him before, but described him quite well.

My mom's never been the type to make up tall tales.

A few years back my sister was at a friends house. She was in the kitchen with her friend's dog when another dog showed up. The dogs interacted with each other. She called out to the friend to ask about the dog and she said the dog described had passed away a couple years back. It vanished shortly after.

Another time at a party as my sister was about to leave she claimed a force was stopping her from going. Like she had to do something first. So she went over to hug the guy that was throwing the party and said goodbye. He drowned a couple of months later.

So yeah, while I haven't experienced anything personally, my sister has had some weird things happen.

Again, Devil's Advocate here because I don't actually believe in ghosts, but that part of the myth isn't exactly unbelievable. As I mentioned before, there are multiple theories;
- They are in a perpetual state of confusion trapped in between worlds and don't understand what is going on. Alternatively, they are angry and refuse to 'cross over' without attacking the living, or they are being lead by an angry being (ala Poltergeist).
- They are anchored to a specific place or object for one reason or another. A 'magic amulet' of sorts.
- They aren't actually dead people, but instead another supernatural creature masquerading as dead loved ones to fuck with people.

Yes we had a weird experience growing up in my old house. My sister had these sailor moon dolls on a shelf, across the room from her bed. A good 10 feet away. The dolls were on the top of the shelf, on top of stands. They stood just fine.

It happened several times where we would hear a sudden crash. And wed go into her room and find a doll or two on the floor. The doll would be by her bed and the stand several feet away. No cause for it to fall at all. Just super creepy.

My friends were over one day and all of a sudden a few started screaming. They saw a man in white just sitting on our couch. He was gone in like an instant.

My sister also had an experience as a kid in that same house. We were sharing a room at the time. She woke up and saw a man in white staring at us.

All white clothes

My sister said she watched him for a long time too. She pretended to sleep and he looked over me a while, then over her, then walked through our bedroom door. She still swears by what she saw to this day.

Our old house was haunted.

When I was about 8 I saw a woman in white standing in the hallway outside my bedroom door (I'd always leave the door open) in the middle of the night just staring at me and I fell right back asleep. Later that same week I woke up in the middle of the night and looked out my window and I saw her running through the backyard and vanishing into the fence. Many years after that during a party, my mom took a picture with one of my uncles in the back porch and in the reflection of the sliding door behind them, you could see a woman in white standing there looking directly into the camera.

There was this one long-ish hallway in the house that connected my bedroom and the second bathroom to the living room and dining area where you would always feel like somebody was right there behind you. My sister and I would always feel the temperature drop when walking through there. My mom heard someone whisper and touch her shoulder on separate occasions when walking through that hallway. Another time while passing through there, she heard me yell out to her so she ran to my room but on the way there remembered nobody was home. One of our uncles who was visiting and staying over at our house said he was watching tv in the living room late one night and that he saw some figure in white standing at the end of that hallway, just staring at him. He spent the whole night in the living room wide awake waiting for one of us to wake up, which happened to be me, so he can tell me what he saw and that he's leaving to a hotel.

Sleep paralysis? Does that count? I had that a lot growing up and maybe it had a bit to do with my room being right by that creepy hallway? I definitely remember one case where I "saw" someone on top of me face to face and totally felt them pinning me down by the wrists.

My brother also had an experience. Hes your typical tough guy who didnt believe in ghosts. He was about 20 at the time.

We were on a cruise in the Middle East. My sister and I shared one room. He and my dad shared another. Our room was always freezing. And I always felt a sense of dread. Id sleep really roughly and have weird vivid dreams of this shadowy figure in our room.

One night my brother had a fight with my dad and slept in our room on the couch. We all went to bed and I heard a weird clinking noise, like my brothers chains. Only he didnt move. Then I heard footsteps. I fell asleep eventually but had a hard time. I felt very uneasy.

Then around 6 am my brother starts screaming for me to turn on the lights. I find him balled up in terror and half crying. He said he woke up to a face looking down at him and he could feel his face was ice cold. It was shadowy but wearing a long white robe. It retreated to the corner of the room and started at him. Then started slowly walking towards him. My brother said hed close his eyes and hope hes seeing things, only for it to be right back at the corner. And then it would walk towards him again. And hed turn and hide when it got too close. And it would be back in the corner again instantly. It went on for a couple of hours too. He was wide awake, pinching himself. He was too terrified to make a noise.

He was literally petrified and I had never seen him like that. We all slept in the other room after that.

Use to have Night Terrors and it often felt like something haunting was standing right by me, I even saw a person that wasn't there once. But anxiety meds have seemingly got rid of those so meh don't think I was actually being haunted.

But there was an inexplicably eerie feeling at the Susan B. Anthony House once, and a phone that allegedly wasn't suppose to be hooked up to anything started ringing. I can't really describe how uneasy it was it just never felt right to be in a house.

Also weird experience, as I passed a girl I had a crush in high school and got the weirdest vibe surrounding her. Now this wasn't haunting or ominous feeling at all just kinda a random bizarre vibe I never felt before. 2 weeks later she was in a car accident with 4 other people, 3 of them ending up dying and she was badly injured breaking both her legs among various other injuries. That still throws me for a loop.

cant be controlled but i seen the future a few times seconds to a full minute before it happened and i had a few dreams (lke dreams as you sleep) that came true.

Then unrelated to the above, I think I have .. "an ability" ? that is classified as "paranormal " (not sure) but its not very valuable (In the scope of being a "game changer" where I can better humanity or something)

Im not explaining it on CE though i do not wish to be mocked, saying this is prob enough for that though...
Edit, I looked it up, it isn't paranormal, just.. more about being aware, and since a lot of people tend to tunnel vision, likely block it off so seems rarer then it should be.

Poltergeist experiences at my old apartment and my parents house, which I believe is mildly haunted. Especially at my old apartment, there were a number of times when loud singular bangs would happen from a room that I wasnt in. Mainly from my closet or the kitchen. Never saw anything disturbed when I looked around. Even had a guy friend visiting once when one of the bangs came from the kitchen while we were in another room. Dude was pretty freaked.

At my parents house, Ive experienced the same bang sounds coming from an unoccupied room and if I look around it seems like nothing was disturbed. Thats only happened once though. Also doors that open on their own over night if left unlocked. One hallway in particular too seems to have some kind of darkness going on. Overall I get a bit of an uneasy feeling staying there. Hard to pinpoint but it doesnt feel positive.

No ghosts though on my end. Worst Ive gotten is seeing some things on sleep paralysis.

This one is dumb, but I can not think of any actual rational explanation of how this happened.

You know the older lights, the ones that turn on by a pulling a string attached to it? It was my mom, my aunt, and myself standing in a room with one of those lights. They were discussing the unusual noises they'd heard in the building, and jokingly said it was a ghost. At that moment there was click from the light and we all looked up and saw the string get knotted up. It just twisted up into a mangled knot. It was such a surprise and sudden thing that we all just had to laugh at it.

We'll still sometimes mention it to each other, it was just such a dumb unusual thing to witness. I have no idea what would make a regular string twist up suddenly.

I'm fairly certain I was stalked by Shadow People for at least a week a couple years ago. If it wasn't for my dogs reactions in each "encounter" I would have just blamed it on being high. Each time it was in the car at night. I would see a figure in the corner of my eye and it would quickly disappear. The thing that freaked me out about it was each time it happened, my dog would start growling and appeared to follow something around the outside of the car (one of the encounters he did a full 360 while following something for over a minute).

Like I said, if the dog wasn't there I would have just said I'm paranoid because I was high. The fact that he reacted every time is what made me think something was out there.

Why would someone need to debunk it? The human brain has the capability of making us think and feel all kinds of weird shit. I'm sure most people who experience the "supernatural" are telling the truth. They're just filling in the blanks and questions with mystical/fictional things because there is nothing humans hate more than not having the answers to everything. Apparently believing vengeful ghosts or demons or whatever are harassing you is more palatable than not understanding what's going on or, worse case scenario, actual people harassing you.
