So my friends aunt's cat had 2 kittens and she was looking for people to adopt. They're about 9 weeks old.
So I was interested in the black kitten (the other is a tabby), but my friend said that the aunt didn't want to separate them and was telling me that adopting 2 would actually be easier. I'm just wondering if people here have experience with this. One is male and one is female btw. --- "Scranton is great, but New York is like Scranton on acid. No, on speed. Nah. On steroids." Well, just double the food and cleanup, but they'll keep each other company.

depends on what you are worried about. they're cats, so they basically look after themselves so you won't be doubling your workload or anything. worst you can expect is double the food cost and vet bills i suppose. at 9 weeks they'd forget about their littermates pretty quickly so she technically can seperate them, they won't be f***ing traumatised or anything. but they'd also be great lifelong buddies if kept together so its up to you.. but it just sounds like she wants to pawn em both off quickly.

I'd say go for it. They can learn from one another and provide enrichment for one another when you're not around.
