Iron Fist

Im one of the few who actually enjoyed the first season of IF, solely because I absolutely love the character and was extremely excited to just see him on screen. But I will be the first to admit how badly they squandered the potential of that character. Theres literally so many aspects to him thats fucking AWESOME on paper and they got none of them right.

But in LC the dude was just on point. Super fucking cool, calm, wise, badass, baller. All the things I want from my Iron Fist

Im super hyped for Season 2. I think they got their head out of their asses and dropped that idiot Scott Buck

He wasn't dumber than a box of glue in Luke Cage, so it was a definite improvement.

He was much better in shorter doses, and or not the MC.

That's not the case at all.

It's just a matter of writing him properly

He's a kid, orphaned, trained in a mystical city to become the greatest martial arts fighter ever, proves his worth to defeat a Dragon to become the Iron Fist. Comes back to New York with where he's a billionaire.

The idiots they had running his first season literally had all that on their plate and didn't know how to deal with any of it.

LC shows how to make that character awesome, you embrace every single one of those concepts. You give him that "wise kung fu" demeaner, show him reciting some of his teachings in Kunlun, while at the same time you realize he's just a dude who was plucked from his family and trained to be fighter. So he's going to be relatable, love hip-hop, and just have that care free sort of attitude and that kinda shit. And then you sprinkle on that he's a billionaire so anything you want to happen conceptionally, can happen. Danny can just ball out and buy buildings after he punches them to the ground.

Which I haven't barely mentioned he's got such a simple but awesome power set that is interesting to me just canonically it's just one of the more awesome superhero backstories. But also anyone can posses it if they are worthy enough, which makes the character all that more relateable and interesting IMHO.

I want to see more of that on a grand scale please. So hyped for season 2.

Cause they had less time to ruin him with short doses and him not as the MC.

I too liked S1 of Iron Fist. Though from a technical standpoint, the show could have trimmed at least 4 eps worth of content, and nothing of value would have been lost.

It did suffer from the Netflix drag on

It had some decent elements though for sure.
