All we have is Shake Shack, Five Guys, brgr, and Smashburger (eww).

There is a place called Petey's Burger which is supposedly like a west coast burger, but I doubt it is as good.

In N out and whataburger are fresh, never frozen, and own their distribution setup, so they can only put restaurants within a certain distance of their distribution hub. Here in Arizona we have both restaurants lol

They're also not franchised like the big three are, they're both family owned.

There's a Smashburger near Jim Hanley's Universe, I tried it once but I couldn't get through it. The garlic fries were offputting too. I also waited like 15 min to get the food despite there only being 2 people ahead of me.

In N out=$6 meal. The habit=$10+ meal.

Same reason in N out is still more popular than whataburger in places that have both.

fair point, I guess.

but tbh, I haven't had either one for a while, so I forget about their prices.

never had Whataburger, though, since there are none around here.

Same quality as in N out, but bigger burgers and more stuff on the menu.

steakburgers are TOO FLAT MAN

Nah fam Freddy's wails, but I wouldn't compare it to INO/WB because steakburgers and normal burgers aren't the same thing

Their fry sauce rocks too

I tried it once on a trip down to Florida and it was pretty good, and cheap too. Wish they had them up north.

I've been to NY and the food there is so good idk why you'd even want to eat at a chain restaurant.

Like down here on the gulf coast, we have great food too, but it's not as fast as NY delis and shit.

Like the best non chain restaurant food you'll find around here is seafood or BBQ and cooked fresh. It's really good but not always fast.

I wish we had more delis. Or pizza by the slice, that shit is brilliant lol

TBH those commercials were always very convincing and it sucks that they advertise other fast food chains despite not having a single location in New York. I would have gotten Carls Jr many times after seeing the Paris Hilton commercial.
