PlayStation still is selling like hotcakes, and plus they charge for online.

When Nintendo starts charging online, expect to see their profits also rise significantly, still behind Sony just because of the userbase, but they'll be making whacko bucks.

TC, you're comparing Nintendo's PROFIT to Sony's REVENUE.

Revenue is not profit, only income before expenses. As in, this isn't an apples-to-apples comparison.

for what it's worth, they are operating on very similar margins - operating margins of 18.2% for Nintendo, 17.7% for Sony

The numbers are inflated due to them shuffling cash around from other Sony departments.

Yeah considering it's just one quarter and one of those companies literally only make video games, I'm pretty happy to know video games aren't going anywhere any time soon
