I'm a dirty lefty on most issues but I
1) don't think taking away guns will solve the core issues of gun violence
2) don't think the whole transgender bathroom thing is a good idea cause it can cause safety concerns for women
3) don't think we should defend islam while at the same time attacking christians for the shit they pull against women/gay people/etc as if islam is any more tolerant about all those things. both (and tbh all) religions are shit

yeah, the thing that gets me about some centrist/moderate types is the implication that people who are solidly left/right don't have their own opinions that disagree with the rest
it's really weird and my armchair psychologist opinion is that it stems from some form of narcissism

1) I dont support the death penalty.
2) While I dont agree with abortion is should be a legally and assessible choice for women to make.
3) I think there should be more legislation for training and education on firearms. I, a person who while never committed a crime, have also not shot a gun ever, be able to go into a gun shop a buy a gun.

I honestly don't believe most people are centrists. The problem isn't that people pick points on the spectrum besides the middle. It's that a lot of them are openly hostile to tribes outside their own.

I'm super left.

1. Guns are great.
2. Abortion is kinda sorta murder. Still think it needs to be around because the alternative of the government making people have unwanted children is worse, but if someone truly believes that it's murder and votes Republican on that issue alone, it's at least a consistent worldview.
3. Immigration is not necessarily a net positive for American workers. It can depress wages for people already here.

I'm not exactly a traditional conservative nor traditional libertarian so I could put down a million things really

Liberal person who doesn't want to personally pay for nor do I want the government to pay for people's lack of responsibility/outcome of their poor decisions. Also 100% support guns and the people's right to own as many as they want. These guns should match the military's power.

So that makes me an ULTRA conservative from this board's standards.

1. Don't care about gays at all (regarding marriage and everything else). Do what you want. Also don't like patronizing any group for use as a political 'tool'. Why people become proud of being paraded around by political groups as mascots, I'll never understand.

2. Couldn't care less about transgender bathroom stuff, but it's weird and opens the door to creepy stuff happening. This stuff won't be covered or even talked about because it'll considered sensitive (and probably a form of racism somehow) or ignorant. Still don't care either way.

3. Have as many abortions as you want. I'll still find you to be a disgusting person without any morals or dignity, but I don't care what you do with yourself. I couldn't deal with the guilt. Also, if my baby was <insert something probably offensive>, I'd 100% have it aborted because I don't feel like dealing with it. Hence my pro-choice stance. I'd be a disgusting person in that case.
