I know people love Thane but I really could not stand him. I found his dialogue to be pretty annoying, specifically when he would have those flashbacks. Samara would be in my top 5, though, but that's mainly because of the biotic combos I'd set up with her. (I romanced Samara all the time, too.) When you shot someone in ME1, they just take damage. Does not feel satisfying. In MS2 the enemies react and it feels much better. Idk. Jack was just Walmart brand Shepard. Jack is useless in Hard mode no matter what class you pick because she has nothing that can deal with armor, barrier, or shields.
