If I knew anything more about it, I would be. As for now, I'm just hopeful, and I do trust Ninty to make a good game given their current string of 1st party success...but I'm a little skeptical that Retro isn't making this one

I actually found Echoes to be a really great game personally, but I understand why a lot of people didn't feel the same way. Definitely not as good compared to the first, which I agree is a 10/10 game for sure... But Echoes had a lot of really cool stuff going for it, I think. Probably a 8-8.5/10. And yeah 3 kind of did drop the ball, I agree on that too. Wii controls were fine, at least the aiming; the other gimmicky Wiimote stuff was kinda heavy handed at times. The moment to moment gameplay was pretty cool, but the story and game design kinda fell flat.
