Correct me if I'm wrong, but Trump cannot be made to face those charges unless Trump is impeached Trump needs to be impeached by congress with a 2/3 majority in the Senate Most Republican senate members wouldn't impeach Trump even if they saw live footage of Trump selling America to Russia Ergo, Trump will not face treason charges ... Trump just happened to be in the same building at the time of the meeting, maybe a floor or two above. It doesnt matter anyways because the meeting was simply about Russian - U.S child adoption policies.

Fair enough. I'm sure there is some sort of legal action that can be taken, though. God I hope so, because if he did do it and gets away with it, that would be super-super fucked up and set an amazingly bad precedent for the future. They'd be opening the floodgates of legalized interference from any foreign country that wants to. The next election will have each candidate with a 'Sponsored by" addendum, "and next up Ryan Johnson, sponsored by China!". ... Copied to Clipboard!
