LOL

Yeah, now we're entering crazy territory. I mean, doesn't this go back to my first point, though? Don't let the crazies influence your opinions? You should have the awareness to simply ignore a nut like Richard Spencer.

We all gotta do better at staying grounded in reality, I think.

The crazies are literally the ones that gave us this dipshit president to begin with, along with the fact that HE'S one of "the crazies" himself.

People that are that enamored with their political leader that they are border line cultists shouldn't be telling others to stay grounded in reality.

So, you're saying 62.9 million people are crazy?

I'm not the one who's outraged every day, man. I think we can agree this is the most volatile time we've ever had, politically, in this country, and I think it's because we've all started floating away from the ground.

If the shoe fits. The idea that "well, there are a lot of them, so they can't be wrong or stupid or extreme" is not grounded in facts.

Well, there's an old Simpsons image:

"50 million smokers can't be wrong!"

But I don't think it's quite relatable to this scenario. Smoking is an addiction that is craved by the body once you get hooked. Why is it so hard to believe people were fed up with how our government was currently operating?

Seems much more grounded in reality...
I know. It's not sexy. It's not...fun. It's...boring. Real shit is boring.

Pretty sure Obama being 'born in Kenya' is another conspiracy theory like JFK's shooting.

Nobody supports child separations. We support deporting illegal aliens who are jumping ahead in the line.

We're all for refugees that try to come here legally. Big difference. Think about it: How did your family get here? Was it thru legal means? Probably. Why spit on their graves?

We support trying to peacefully work with Russia on our terms. We don't want a war.

Again "very fine people" was said to not create further chaos before he had all the facts. You have the benefit of hindsight on July 25, 2018.

Roy Moore thing was terrible.

Yes, we do support the wall.

IDK what YEC is. *looks it up* Ok, I don't think that's something most of them agree with. Furthermore, who the hell even cares?

Honestly, can someone tell me the difference in believing there were two shooters during JFK's assassination and someone believing Obama wasn't born here?

Both are conspiracy theories. I made a poll on here before about JFK and most people on here believe that the official report is bogus.

Does that make them bad people?

"muh polls!!!"

They didn't help ya when it mattered, did they? Yeah, if parents decide to try and illegally come thru the country with their children - that's their decision. They can be held for the consequences of making a poor choice. They certainly know there is a possibility they could be separated from their child. That's not the United States' fault.

There's basically two types of Republicans:

1) Racist assholes who've been led to believe that blacks/gays/jews/muslims/etc., have come in to destroy them and their way of life and believe that the ever so "heroic" Republicans will come in to save them by passing more gun laws and starting more wars.

2) Rich assholes who don't want the government to come swoop in and stop them from being able to exploit the average American.
