This year I charged this much for food: 9GnqMy7

But I also paid for quite a bit in cash, so it would be closer to about $2,300.

I very rarely go to a sit down restaurant and spend $50+ on a meal. Usually I get take out from places when I'm just too lazy to cook. If I want a huge steak I'll just grill it at home

$50+? Where are you eating? Even in NYC, it's rare that any of my meals exceed $40.

I can usually spend about $45 on ingredients, especially if Im making something with a lot of parts like fried rice.

I blame going for real premium stuff, like jumbo shrimp.

Is that pic through your bank or an app? Cool way to keep track of spending

Anyway, not much. I don't go out too often so probably around 300 a year, give or take.

Since January 1st I've spent roughly $250. All of 2017 it was more like $2,250. I went on a lot of dates that year lol

Not much anymore. After that trip to the clinic I realized my body isn't invincible so I only eat out from time to time. Thank God everything came back negative that was a real wakeup call.

Only when I have to because of family, so maybe 5-6 times per year. I much more enjoy cooking at home and would rather spend the extra money new kitchenware or grilling/smoking equipment.

Now with a baby we much more rarely "go out to eat" at sit down restaurants, but also since its harder to get anything done, pickup fast food or take out or whatever more often.

If I go out to eat with friends I'm probably gonna have a couple of drinks + entree + maybe sharing an app. Even before tip that can easily run you $50.

Like I said, I don't go out all that much. So I don't really feel the need to be super thrifty about what I order.
