You all did great with my next new Mario game by picking Galaxy 2! Still working on The Perfect Run, but in the meantime its time for my next choice!

In general I tend to alternate between playing a new game and replaying a game I havent touched in many years. So its replay time!

FF1 would be on the NES Classic
B-T would be on Rare Replay with ACHIEVEMENTS
GTA, Jak, and Psychonauts would be on PS4 for TROPHIES
Metal Gear would be through the MGS HD collection
The rest would be through PS1 emulation on the PS3

I should add that the reason some of these series arent starting with their first entry is that I have replayed those in recent years

The exception being GTA3, which is where I first picked up the series

The Perfect Run is kicking my ass, but Im consistently getting the final part now (Hammer Bros, Boomerang Bros), so I feel like its within my grasp

Got it done. Nearly got hit by returning boomerang AFTER I killed the last Boomerang Bro, but narrowly avoided that disaster. 242 Stars!

I think the Grandmaster Galaxy normal run is great. Perfect Run of it was asking a LOT lol.

Its kinda funny that the true final boss of the game is just three Boomerang Bros. But then I suppose the true final boss of Odyssey was Crazy Cap capitalism

Oh and is there anywhere in the game that surfaces how to unlock the Perfect Run? Maybe an NPC on the ship? Thats the one thing I had to look up the entire game. I feel like it should just unlock once youve beaten Grandmaster Galaxy normally and gotten the Comet Medal.

But thats a nitpick. Great game. I can see why some prefer it over Galaxy 1 now.

No, by version I guess I really meant installment. I bought it and Breath of Fire II at the same time and it was like someone chose to not read what they were typing once it was in the system in both games.

It's a good game, but it feels like a rough draft to Suiko2.

Love the easily abusable gambling though! No money problems for this rebellion

Gambling is so insane that I decided in my most recent playthrough to use it as minimally as possible (recruitment purposes). It's definitely got that old school RPG charm where you just abuse the hell out of everything and feel extremely clever when you do.
