Why is being used always looked at negatively? As far as Im concerned the more I use someone, the more useful they are to me meaning I probably l(ike)ove them and would have a hard time if they weren't there for me.

Of course the negatives are when you use someone you don't give a shit about and won't be there for them when they need to use you. But why does that overshadow mutual usefulness people can share? More people would be willing to admit when they need someone if using wasn't always in a bad light.

We all use each other as humans and some of it is good natured and some is bad. But why is it only used to describe the bad? Are people unaware that they use people they love the most? Who doesn't want to be useful?
