Correction: orthodox Marxism isn't bad in and of itself, but its advocates need to be closely watched to make sure that they don't succumb to the same temptations of power that Lenin did. That's part of the reason why Bakunin et al split off from the First International - they saw it coming.

we just voted against endorsing a "progressive" candidate because we have built a reputation as being in solidarity with sex workers and she was pro something that would screw them over, so didn't endorse her, because we would be throwing people under the bus.

It sucks that the person she is up against is way worse, but us not giving her an endorsement doesn't end her campaign.
