Fair enough, but it feels like you are arguing just for the sake of arguing, however its possible i am just poor at communicating. Also its clear you are very passionate about how bad putin is. I take note of that, however i am immediately skeptical of anything the media frenzies about this much. I am sure he is no saint, but i dont believe we are either. I also tend to believe most of that stuff is out of the presidents control. So i guess i imagine it working similarly over there.

Firstly, referring to all media as a singular entity is ridiculously inaccurate. Second, much of this information comes from first hand testimonials, legal/government reports, and investigations. It's not just some newspaper printing some random article about him being a bad guy without any sources or information.

This is a ridiculous sentiment to have. "He's doing heinous evil things, but so does our government, so he should get a pass".

The difference being that it's a completely different government and that Putin has actively pursued centralization of power and direct control of the state in most aspects.

They haven't done anything we aren't guilt of ourselves. Or many other nations who we cozy up to. China for instance.
Oooooo. They ran some Facebook ads and hacked the DNC. Idiots screaming "They hacked our election!" trying to make it sound as if Russia actually got into the voting machines on election day and added votes in the system for Trump because he's the secret Manchurian Candidate. What a load of shit. Again. We've done far worse to other country's elections.

I never said he needs to go. You are, again, putting words in my mouth. I figure you are trying some sort 'Gotcha!' but it's based on a fundamental misunderstanding of what I'm saying.

I said we in the West shouldn't buddy up to him and should take measures to prevent him from manipulating us.
