So i've been doing drywall, roofing, painting, demolition for awhile now but the past 2 weeks i've been working on this 6 floor apartment building with no elevator. I gutted the entire building and carried out like 6 bathrooms, 6 kitchens and 6 sets of flooring.

It's been like like 35 degrees (95f) and i've been sweating like crazy..like take your shirt off and wring it out soaked and i've dropped from 160 to 143..i've been eating a lunch everyday and I cant slow down the weight loss. Everybody is saying I look more trim.

It's been tough, but this has been great. I know absolutely nothing about fitness or exercise, all I know is that my gut is gone and I didn't even have too much of a gut to begin with. I hope all i'm losing is weight though, not muscle.

There probably is some lean mass being lost if you've lost that much weight so quickly. A lot of water, some fat, and some muscle. Stay hydrated, obviously, and you probably need to eat more.

You need to be taking in lots of carbs and protein if you're working like that. Don't even bother counting calories right now. When you do work like that, once you drain yourself it's hard to recover.

Also, fuck hauling material up high-rise stairs. I had to carry every heating unit up the steps for every apartment in a 9 story high-rise with a refrigerator dolly and hopes and dreams. Shit suuuuuucked.

I already learned the hard way....just beg for forgiveness instead of asking....i was dumb and asked to just throw it out the windows into the bin but was told i couldn't

anyways, if i am losing muscle mass, what goes first typically? from what region?

Carpenters burn like 2000 calories just in their working day in hot weather. You need to eat more.

Depends on the individual. If you're losing it, it's likely coming from every where just like fat does. Just eat more
