Don't know how I ever beat Skyward Sword. I had to mentally prepare myself for the tornadoes in the sky as they freaked me out so much, and I would squint whenever possible. Really ruined the sky for me, I sometimes had fun just being dumb in the sky.

Also, yes, I get it, they are technically water spouts, but they scare me too so stfruitu.

Yeah those tornadoes scared me a lot as a kid. They still kinda do. That and the Big Octos scared me too.

I just don't get it. They are cartoony, nothing to really be afraid of, but alas, my heart starts beating way too fast, I get really tense, I have a large desire to look away, and I just want to pause my game and quit. Literally have to mentally prepare myself to be able to look at them.

yeah I tried playing it and the buildings are so high up and it looks realistic so I was having mini panic attacks

same thing in WoW, if I jump off some really high cliff somewhere I can feel my stomach jump to my throat while I watch my character drop

I live in Missouri, so tornadoes are a relatively common thing, but I luckily never directly dealt with one, but they have gotten close.

They really just look unnatural to me, there is just something really freaky about tornadoes, and that is where a lot of the fear comes from.

Trying to jump on something in the sky is hard on me in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 when I fall through the sky and start freaking out because I'm afraid of heights.

When I fall from large heights in games I actually clench up irl. It's kinda weird

I never had a problem with Wind Waker, but relate to random natural things being excessively freaky to me. Whirpools, waterspouts, tornadoes, they're kinda cool to look at pictures of but I would freak the fuck out if I saw any of them in person even from a perfectly safe distance.

Granted, at least those things are actually dangerous in and of themselves. A weirder one for me is being strangely freaked out by, like, icebergs. Like this picture:

Not "scream and run away" scary but for whatever reason the fact that the underwater portion you can't see above the surface is so massive gives me the heebie jeebies.

Oh shoot! Icebergs freak me out a little too. It's just creepy. Speaking of which, I also hated the random ice and lava islands on windwaker, how everything just pops in like that.
