Maybe there could be an added side quest near the end of the game where you are somehow able to bring her back to life. Would you want something like that to be included, or do you think that would negatively affect the game?

I'd like the opportunity to keep her as a party member post death in some sort of NG+, but keep the loss of her standard for a normal playthrough

Yeah, making it possible to revive her in NG+ would be nice, but let her do her sacrify the first time you play the game because of story.

I would love a NG+. It would really help with some of the materia that can be missed forever. I'm replaying the game for the first time in several years, and I already had to reset once because I missed a summon.
