I don't see why not if you are talking about still being in school

but if you have already finished then throw that shit out. nothing more sad than using text books to fill in your shelves for decoration. even worse if you do it to look like an intellectual

It's kinda a reminder now for me that I need to get off my break some day and finish. Also I need to fill the space with something. Also, kinda want ppl to see that I'm into nursing etc.

You paid way too much for the damn thing, and the resell value is total ass, so may as well get some actual use out of a college textbook.

No I still return to mine from time to time. Also like someone else mentioned theyre too expensive to throw out and resell aint worth it.

Me personally, I feel really connected and attached to my textbooks.

I still have my textbooks from undergrad and early graduate school. Mostly laying around and in boxes in various places.

Some are good quick references, so why not?

I still have most of my books on my shelf from my 9 years of college. They aren't for decoration or showing off, they're incase I ever need to reference something again (and I have, engineering concepts don't drastically change and get outdated). I also hate having messy, unorganized areas, so throwing them in a closet is not an option.
