If anything it shows a lack of reading, fill up the shelf with actual books. University text books are one step away from yearbooks.

No I still return to mine from time to time. Also like someone else mentioned theyre too expensive to throw out and resell aint worth it.

I still have my textbooks from undergrad and early graduate school. Mostly laying around and in boxes in various places.

I still have most of my books on my shelf from my 9 years of college. They aren't for decoration or showing off, they're incase I ever need to reference something again (and I have, engineering concepts don't drastically change and get outdated). I also hate having messy, unorganized areas, so throwing them in a closet is not an option.
