It's a school photographer position. I would be driving around to different schools, mostly local, but once a week I have to make a pilgrimage to headquarters. It pays really well and they cover basic driving and food costs.
Also, photography is my passion. It would be so cool to get professional experience in that field >.>

That's fine. Mentally you-know-what people can get a license, if you want to use that as a measure of difficulty

Find a cosigner, get a $5000 used car loan and find something reliable in a jiffy. Then pass the drivers tests. Could honestly do all of that in a day or two if you hussled

Assuming you have the money for all of this, all you'd need is some practice because (imo) driving is the most overrated thing in the world. It's actually harder to park.

Over 18? Go to the DMV take the written test, take the driver test there or somewhere, then get a shit box that'll get you from a to b and then find the cheapest insurance possible and you're good. Could do it all in a few days.

Nope it take about that long to get your Driver License sent to you. I would recommend getting your liscense ASAP but don't count on getting the job. Doubt they would want to hire you if you only have a Driver's permit to show.

They typically give a temporary license that acts the same as the actual license until it arrives.

Hmm, I think I will try to do this. The interview is tomorrow, so I'll tell them about my situation. Whether or not they hire me I'll still have to get my license eventually, so I'll set up the writted test in a few days

You can get the written test done in a day, but you might have to make an appointment for the driving test and if you're in a populated area it might not be scheduled for a while.

Though you could just drive with the permit until then. Just don't do anything stupid.
