Depends on the kind of bar. If there's local craft beer, I'm having local craft beer. If it's a craft cocktail bar, I'm having one of their specials, a Last Word, a Manhattan or a Sazerac. If it's a dive (which I'm usually only there for karaoke or because a friend dragged me) I'm drinking Maker's Mark or Tennessee Honey (the king of karaoke recovery booze).

Rum and coke or Bud light. Or if I'm somewhere fun I might try some fruity drink.

Water or soda. I don't drink alcohol.....mostly because I am on medication and also alcohol is way too bitter for me, I don't know how people can stomach it.

Vodka tonic. Grey goose or ketel one.

Or greatful deads or long islands if Im trying to get smashed

Jack and coke or Stella.

Patron/tequila shots, whisky, or Jagar bombs if I'm with my one friend who still drinks those things and buys them for anyone were with.

I have a lot of microbreweries around though so sometimes I'll try whatever I haven't before just for the hell of it.

Mainly the Jack and coke/Stella with a shot or two between them.

Usually a beer guy, trending towards Belgian and Bavarian style lagers, especially witbiers. Also like the occasional rum and coke or bourbon on the rocks.

my go to predrink at the bar was liquid cocaine and kamikaze to start the night.

if I'm gonna sitting for the long night at the bar, its scotch on the rocks and a sweet mixed drink like a long island. thing is I like the long island ice tea when its chilled. its so good. the scotch is just something for me to sip on really until I decide to dance or hook up with someone.

I'm surprised people are saying old fashioned. I love to make them myself, but I'd feel like a major dick for ordering a drink with a 3 minute cook time

Water. If Im feeling crazy, I might have ginger ale or lemonade. Maybe sprite.

If I dont drink, I dont see any harm in occasionally having a sugary drink.
