No, I believe that's illegal in my state which seems stupid to me. I do wish they were, though.

Edit: The law is officers have to be able to see into the vehicle, and they set that value to 70% of the light must get in. Still dumb to me.

yes they are tinted.

but one window was shot out during a burglary at night. my car was parked outside while neighbor was robbed. I stayed overnight at my cousins house. the thieves tried to rob my car but thetintt held the window in place. it basically put a hole on the window while remaining up. my alarm went off and the thieves left the scene.

next morning, cops knock on the door and tell me about the robbery. a cop looked over and saw my car with a hole in the window. the bullet shoot thru the window, nicked my center console, went thru my passenger seat. the cop found the bullet smashed on the frame of the underside of the passenger seat. they took the bullet for evidence.

seems a lot of the nicer cars have their windows tinted

5% tint, so you cant see up in my windows
