Should i get the first Witcher "Enhanced Directors cut" off Steam?

What about Witcher 2?

Start with 3. It's the best one. There's a thing to get you caught up on the story but since it's open world story doesn't matter much.

witcher 1 is a game that is going to be difficult to get into unless you were a fan of that sort of game around the time it came out. Stuff like Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR, etc. It's very good but modern gamers seem to have issues going back. Get the enhanced directors cut, it uncensors some things but beyond that there's not a lot of difference.

Witcher 2 is like a less polished Witcher 3 gameplay wise, but it has a great story and I think you should play it just because it's fun, as well as more connected with Witcher 3 as a whole. Get Assassin of Kings enhanced edition

2 is a good game in its own right. I enjoyed it on the 360. No clue about the PC version

So maybe ill be still able to get into it if i start with 3?
