There isn't a Walmart in NYC, but Target is pretty extensive.

Walmart has everything you might possibly need. Target has most of it but not all of it.

But just to avoid walmart, target is worth the price.

There's a Target and a Walmart near one another in Dearborn, MI. Walmart has a bigger selection, of course.

That said, I'd rather go to Target and Kroger for my needs than step foot in Walmart if I can help it.

About the same usually, just depends on the size of the store. Walmarts are usually bigger in my experience though, as they have their giant superstores in big urban areas as well as in rural areas where they pretty much are the only store.
