I ask because in the Movie Terriormon golden armor digivolves into Rapidmon which in the next season ends up being Terriormon's Ultimate stage evolution.

No, it's just his Armor form with the Golden Digiegg.

Digimon don't really have true evolutions. They can evolve into a ton of different things.

Veemon can digivolve into Veedramon (of which ExVeemon is evidently a variant) which can digivolve into AeroVeedramon

I've always wondered about that.
Magnamon is usually considered a mega level digimon though. And Rapidmon isn't golden when he's just the ultimate stage of Terriormon --- My sister's dog bit a hole in my Super Mario Land cartridge. It still works though - Skye Reynolds 3DS FC: 3239-5612-0115 ... Copied to Clipboard!
