Like a solid 3-400 bucks in the last 3 months. I used to find places in the 12-1300 range often enough now I'm struggling to find any under 1500 that aren't limited to 55 year old people and up.

everything gone up. trying to get my roomie to get with the idea so we can move out. problem is finding a place that accepts dog with deposit.

wouldn't really lose now. but it's going to be a rough winter my rent went up from 720$ to 1000$. because of new ownership.
those realtors lied to the tenants they would sell to a good landlord.

almost all but me moved out.

No, its basically everywhere. Its almost like renters across the nation got together and made rent unacceptable.

A three bedroom/2 bathroom house should be $1000/month and its closer to $2000. A one person apartment where I live now costs more than $1000/month.

Its getting to the point where a mortgage is more affordable than rent. Downtown in my city is practically a ghost town because of the rent costs. They are just SO greedy.

Are they allowed to do that in the middle of a lease? Like if I agree to move in January at 1k and they jump the price up to 1.5 in February they can't hit me with that bs right?

Late summer months rent is highest because of college students. Look for housing during late fall and winter when prices are lowest.

They cant do it mid-lease, I assume he means when it was time to renew


it's month to month. no lease. but he's safe until the lease runs out then they can go on new terms if it comes with increase.
