Plus Goku himself was far stronger than his dad who was reportedly of average strength. And Goku's older brother, Raditz, was likewise unremarkable. That or power level improvements could be inhertable Of course, in the case of dhampir (half-vamps), they have many of the strengths with fewer of the weaknesses. That makes them stronger by default. In general, when you mix two species, the result is going to be consistent or predictable in terms of inherited traits.
