It really is the strangest thing to be that guy who liked 8 and Solo and was excited to see the ending to Solo pan out into another movie and then to hear no one else liked them and the movies were a bust because of whatever super expectations people had.

If I remember correctly, there was a large group of people who claimed 8 was going to suck before they even saw it...probably dropped into the movie with a negative mindset.

People didn't like 5 when it came out either...now its a treasure.
