IQ increases with education. Simple psychology.

it does not, a high iq allows you to be more educated easily

only a person with a high iq could be a polymath, while a normie could master a particular subject with years and years of dedication

Sure, if you have a high IQ, it makes sense that you can be educated more easily. However, to say that education does not affect an IQ test is premature. I could merely point out something like reading more make it less likely that you will misread a question on a paper test. Lol. Argument over. This is madness.

Okay. Let me just give another example to put a nail in the coffin. Are you a Game of Thrones fan? (Incredibly minuscule, irrelevant non-spoiler ahead.)

Littlefinger: Fight every battle everywhere, always in your mind. Everyone is your enemy, everyone is your friend. Every possible series of events is happening all at once. Live that way and nothing will surprise you. Everything that happens will be something that youve seen before.

We learn by association. Knowing what 'cold' is helps me to understand what 'hot' means, etc. We use metaphor and analogies to teach. Association is very useful. The more experiences you have, the more likely you will have equipped yourself with some knowledge that is associated to a question on the IQ test, whether it's marginally relevant or perfectly necessary to answer the question.

I'm sure there are math theorems (or whatever they call them in math. I forgot. It's been so long...) that are associated to story problems. If you take a lot of math you might be able to directly apply this stuff instead of sort of just working it out some other way. Or maybe the only way you work it out "some other way" is because you've already done that in a math class and forgot the name of whatever you just did in your head to get that answer.

Ever heard the idea that math just generally wires the brain to problem solve? You act as though knowledge does not overlap with working memory / processing. Well, wtf are you gonna process if zero knowledge applies?

Intelligent, Productive member of society wouldnt waste time hanging out and harassing everybody on some hellish internet wasteland.

At least they would spend time for lolz by scheming in real life. In fact, internet trolling, no, harrasing to be precise is the worst, lowest class of drecks there is.

I wanna scheme irl but I'm too afraid to get in trouble. The only thing illegal I do is drugs and pirating cuz they're both worth the risk (which is also little risk).

Look you need to understand and face it. You CANNOT raise your IQ just out of will. We might all have the same overall learning capacity some of us learn at a higher rate. You can't increase this rate no matter what.

Lets say the human brain caps at 1000, some people can add to their capacity by 100s others can only add to it by 10s. We are all born with different innate abilities but we are all capable of doing anything. You can outwork genius but you're going to have to put in 100% more effort than him.

Now on to the topic. One of the first documented geniuses was Socrates, he would troll people in his day. Back then people were densely packed. Where is the densest place of humans today? The internet.

If you don't know something, don't claim it is true. What is so hard about that?

Please don't spread misinformation which is really just your naive intuition.

You didn't read the study. You read the first few sentences of the abstract and assumed the paper was saying what you wanted it to say.

If someone is spreading misinformation under the guise of science, even if they are shitty trolls, I'm not gonna let it go unchallenged.

Somedays I'll feel more invested than others. Sometimes I'll just publically note that it is nonsense lol.

the only misinformation being spread is covxy trying to force one paper as fact on an issue

and that paper doesn't even claim to be conclusive itself

You want the IQ test to represent something it can't because it's a test that you take on paper with multiple choices, and people can use methods like process of elimination and shit like that which makes the test kind of invalid.

You might think, "Oh well if some little kid can get a 145, then how could education matter?" And I think you would be right to think that you don't need textbook facts in your memory bank to understand patterns well, but having tapped into the mind of the universe, if you willl, and undergoing the process of learning will train your brain to be sharper and just I guess....be able to accelerate faster (to use an engine as a metaphor) because various associative modes of processing have been tapped into much more.

obviously iq matters and the tests are accurate, no other 8 year old but one with a high iq could reach college material

where did his high iq come from? preschool? no he was born with it

It was one paper but not one study. A meta-analysis of quasi-experimental designs showing a large effect size of education on IQ is pretty strong evidence.
