Like before they became the Turtles we're all familiar with. Also they're definitely going more in the direction of the 1980s Turtles than the 2k12 series did. I'm still willing to give it a chance, I can get used to the art style but god Splinter is just fucking ugly. Wish April was an adult again. Maybe TMNT isn't wacky happy funtime enough for Nickelodeon. Maybe there are some licensing issues that they don't want to pay for. But yeah, there's just no way you create a show this bad by accident. Still, I don't want the Turtles going the way of X-Men. It's one thing for a supporting character to become the most popular.
