Basically, with my current work schedule, I work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays doing stuff for my boss' department. Then yesterday, he offered me the opportunity to work for another department in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next six or so weeks. The only reason that I refused was because I've been feeling exhausted for a long time, and I wanted to use the summer vacation to learn how to relax, because I have a lot of trouble doing that, especially during the school year. I know I will sound very entitled when I say this, but I already make more money at the job I currently work at than what's required for that damned American tuition, and books and such. I didn't see the point of taking on extra duties that I would only be learning to use for this summer. I'm tired, exhausted, and just have no energy to do a lot of things, nowadays. In hindsight, though, I could have increased my bi-weekly pay by about forty percent. On the other, I'm just too tired to do so. I know I'll come to regret this later when money becomes harder to obtain in the future, and for some people, such as the common working man, summer vacation doesn't exist. I know I should get used to a five-day workweek, but at the same time, I can't help but feel so tired and out of energy all the time; I don't even know if I would want to do it, since I don't need the money right now. Anyway, do you think I'm a complete imbecile for refusing increased hours at my job?

I must have these answers.

So I told my boss today that I changed my mind and would actually like to work every weekday until the twentieth of August, when the fall semester starts. I don't really do anything of any value on my off-days, anyway. I usually just stay at home, anyway, since there's really no reason for me to go outside. I haven't any friends with which I can enjoy my off-days, and there's really nothing for me to do outside that doesn't involve spending money. Usually, I'm just at home, with more time to brood about the past and my life, and such. At least, this way I'll be more productive and such. I know I've said that I'm tired in general nowadays, but there's nothing for me to do that makes me any happier or satisfied at all with how I spent my day, anyway. Even if I'm tired, at least I'd be making money, if I chose to work every weekday, some bloke online helped me realize. I don't know when I'll start working Tuesdays and Thursdays in addition to the days I already work, though.
