A website tied to a candidate for the North Carolina General Assembly says God is a racist white supremacist and that Jews are descended from Satan.

Russell Walker is a Republican candidate running for state House District 48 which includes Scotland and Hoke counties.

On Tuesday, the North Carolina Republican Party withdrew its support for Walker.

Based on recent behavior and previous statements, the North Carolina Republican Party is unable and unwilling to support the Republican nominated candidate for North Carolina House District 48," GOP chairman Robin Hayes said in a statement Tuesday. "The NCGOP along with our local parties in Hoke, Scotland and Robeson Counties will be spending our time and resources supporting Republican candidates that better reflect the values of our party.

Walker did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Wednesday.

"What is wrong with being a white supremacist? God is a racist and a white supremacist," the website connected to Walker says.

"Someone or group has to be supreme and that group is the whites of the world ... someone or something has to be inferior ... In all history in sub-Saharan Africa, no two-story building or a waterproof boat was ever made."

I'm not sure how true that claim is. But it doesn't change that plenty were built in Asia and the Middle East.

I often wonder which is dumber: religious racism or scientific racism.

It's easy to imagine God as setting special places for people... with you being among the most important, of course. But it's foolish to think that a divine creator who made us all would set some people above others in such a manner. God so loved you that he wanted other people to be your footstool. Yeah, right. :/

I guess scientific racism makes a little more sense. You can say that things are genetic and that people can be visibility categorized by their genetics. These people look like this and they're somehow less than the rest of it.

You know what? Screw it. They're both assholes and the only lesson to be had is that assholes will use whatever means they have at their disposal to try and set themselves up as better than others. Screw them.

That is technically correct based on the bible, but you kind of have the problem that all people are since they exist due to his interference.

Do you mean "all people are" God's people, or "all people are" descended from Satan?

If it's the former, I'm pretty sure the Bible specifically singles out the Jews (or rather, the Israelis) as God's People. If it's the latter, the Bible never claims all people are descended from Satan, though one could definitely argue that through the whole Garden of Eden story that all people are influenced by Satan.

Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this, I'm not really much of a Bible believer these days so haven't read it in a very long time.
