seems like he's saying to find basic enjoyment even in menial work.

lets not mistake that for having a menial job your entire life; a menial career.

Jordan Peterson is the archetype between chaos and order, okay, if you are not careful you fall to chaos and then you will doubt yourself, and the thing about that is it leads down a dark road of the unknown in which you will find yourself falling down the bottomless pit of Hell, and that's no joke bucko

Most of my work is pretty intense and enjoyable, but there's days when I have to fabricate 100, 200 identical steel pieces in a day and that's exactly what I do.

Yeah I got a new job two months ago and then the schedule conflict with my first job forced me to get another job that I start in two weeks because I was only working 20 hours in total. Either way you slice it, all three jobs are crap.

Theres a lot of people who get paid a whole lot of money but still doesnt get meaning from their jobs. Its not the salary, an artist may not make much but they probably find meaning it. If you want a meaningful job you have to take a gamble on yourself and be unconventional and be ok with failure.

I found that I am more encouraged to be okay with failure in the current political climate because it's shown me just how many stupid people are out there. To some extent I think we're ashamed of failure because of what our peers think. Now that I know how stupid a lot of my peers are, it's much easier to be basedgod. I'm not racing those people. I don't care about those people except for their rights and well-being.
