My current mage will use bound bow or dual 1h swords occasionally. Usually in stealth.

Next build will be a 2h Orc Berserker tho

I'm a bit reluctant to use SE due to fewer mods available.

The enemies scale with you so it's actually not hard, it just means that instead of beating lvl 40 rats to death with your Daedric longsword, weapons and armor actually mean something.
