COD gets hate because its mainstream, buts its really one of the best installments year in and year out. And Zombies is a large contributed to that. Im sure you are all excited for blops 4 and the conclusion of the treyarc zombies storyline. Will richtofen finish his agenda? Will maxis get his? What about Monty?

I feel like the Zombies gameplay in World at War was phenomenal and even better in Black Ops 1, but when Black Ops 2 came out it felt all wrong. The knifing felt so horrible.

Usually zombies is split between black ops 2 and before, and post blops 2. Its weird that you think blops 2 was the shift to the more Easter egg focused, objective based zombies instead of simple maps. Granted, Ill give you Origins, but the default maps like tranzit are still basic.

And from what I heard this is the end for the main groups. Maybe in blops 5 there will be a throwback or some hints but it will be mostly a new group.

It wasn't even the maps really that got me, it was the gameplay itself. I'm a huge melee/knife person in Zombies, and I could never get used to how it felt in 2. Completely ruined the experience for me.

Well that's good. Tank and the rest were another big draw for me and I'm happy to see they'll be getting closure.

For me I felt like the knifing was mostly the same. Youd get the good swipe or the lunge that takes longer. Its not like WW2 zombies with the shovel and extended animations.

I always liked rictofen. I loved his voice and schemes

The magic map was in the base game for 3 at least. Shadows of darkness or something like that. There was a zombies chronicles for 3 that had fan favorite maps from all previous cods.

That's right, it's been so long since i played 3 that i forgot about the one free map. I didn't like it at all and immediately went back to 2.

That's right, it's been so long since i played 3 that i forgot about the one free map. I didn't like it at all and immediately went back to 2.

I still play 2 as well. Thats where I spent the majority of all my zombies time so it just feels natural. I also play WW2 when I want to go online

I have 2 and only play it for zombies. I don't care about online at all, i got 2 just for zombies. The longest I've made it was round 22 by myself. Had a RPD and Ray gun pack a punched plus revive and quick reload.

Yeah the farthest Ive gone in tranzit is 24. Im average at zombies tbh. RPD is better than the ray gun imo for camping

I was pretty much obsessed with zombies, Call of the Dead was by far my favorite though I love doing the camp at the top of the tower and then zip line down to the ship and make that massive Circle run over and over

Bomb is nice. I usually just buy and pack a new weapon each round if Im solo so I never have to worry about max ammo
