I've not been following the situation very closely and maybe I'm just falling on his side because I "know" him...but I sort of feel like she's full of shit. The fact that she didn't mention his name (and apparently still hasn't?) makes me think she's trying to avoid a libel lawsuit. There were also those post-breakup text messages where she wanted to get back together.

I agree, and that's kind of the point of all this. He's been virtually yanked from everything professionally with very little infornation except a single claim that doesn't even use his name. Something is very wrong..

This. Based on what I've heard about her texts sent later on asking to reconcile, I'd like to see someone interview them both and ask point blank what the deal is and if they can back it up-to be fair, that could be tricky asproof either way is hard to come by (because who would ever think they need to make records of their innocence?) but she needs to take responsibility if she's misspoken and give a provable reason to ruin his career if she is legit.
