Cindy is a student in Peter Parker's class who was also bitten by a radioactive spider around the same time as Peter as she gains abilities to shoot webs and possess eidetic memory and advanced spider sense far stronger than Peter's but has less superhuman strength though is much faster. This is the first standalone feature for an asian superhero as she was first seen in Spiderman Homecoming played by 19 y/o China Born Tiffany Epensen and she briefly made an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War No word if she will also play the title character but the film is an add for Sony's push for DIVERSITY and INCLUSION on screen, especially in big blockbusters as Amy is championing for strong female led characters as she did for the reboot for Ghostbusters. I remember her from voicing one of the Fireside Girls in Phineas and Ferb (she was the original voice of Ginger before Ming-Na Wen's daughter took over the role)
