I used a flair.

The problem with "diversity" is that, while celebrating what makes people different, we build greater barriers between ourselves as well, oftentimes losing sight of what we have in common. It's also oftentimes used as a Band-Aid fix for greater, deeper [non]issues. The example I always give is: Do you want the most diverse board of directors or do you want the best board of directors? The answer may be clear as one or the other, depending on your socio-political alignment, age, and most evidently, level of life experience. Do you want the most diverse team or surgeons or the best team of surgeons? This time, however, there's only one answer 99% of people will accept. If diversity is so important, why hold doctors to a different standard? Because the "diversity" argument only seems to apply when it's expedient.

Meanwhile, we have "inclusion", which is just a fancy way of saying "exclusion", because any time you actively attempt to "include" something, you will inevitably "exclude" something else.
