I don't trust or justify paying $500 to a $1000 for a bottle of booze.

I keep it in the $50 to $60 range when I want or have money for something fancy.

They're just easier to shoot and have less burn.

Maybe a stronger flavor since they're casked longer in whatever type of wood.

I have a $150 bottle of scotch.

It tastes great. Very smooth and balanced. Not a huge leap from the $80 stuff but why not splurge once in a while.

Makes you pause when you know it costs $4 an ounce.

Typically not worth it. I know brands $20 or less smoother than most expensive bullshit brands.
