Would you seek asylum in another first world country or just deal with it?

I would remain in the U.S. If for some reason I changed mind and wanted to go to another country, I would follow their immigration laws and not try to illegally cross their border.

My family has been growing our own food for years. We hunt and fish. We are experts in survivalism, including my children. Last winter we went camping during a blizzard to test our skills. We were out for 9 days, and we came home with more food that we took out.
The bottom could drop out tomorrow, and our lives would not be affected in any way. --- Torn between two minds. Is either correct? Perhaps together.....but how? Can it be done? ... Copied to Clipboard!

We do this because we choose to, and enjoy doing it. It makes us closer as a family, and my children learn valuable skills. We still buy food at the grocery store, but it's not a requirement for our survival. We are not "backwoods" people, and we enjoy the comforts that the modern world provides. If anything, we are more grateful for these comforts, realizing that life could be much more difficult, as it was just a century ago. We will never starve or stand in a bread line, regardless of what happens to the US. P.S. This isn't about "doomsday prepper" whatever nonsense. I have always loved the outdoors, and I was lucky enough to find a wife that did too. This is a hobby with perks. --- Torn between two minds. Is either correct? Perhaps together.....but how?
