There hasn't been a 'pure' race since like ... the dawn of humanity. Like, take British. Some people arbitrarily define a cut off point around the 16th century or so, but realistically, 'British' are formed from a huge amount of groups; Roman, Celtic (Welsh, Pict, Irish, etc), Angle, Saxon, Jute, Dane, and Briton.
