I think every part of the game is pretty great, except for the bosses and Ganon being a lame boss fight is part of why the ending sucks so badly I hate how they couldn't keep Zelda dead but they also couldn't revive any of the other champions but beyond that there was no catharsis or satisfaction from the ending for me, which is a big detriment IMO But maybe you have a different take --- ... I agree that the bosses were kind of a weak point in the game. They were all too similar.

His appearance is the most terrifying thing I've seen in a Zelda game (I was really not prepared for how much of an abomination he became), and I found the boss fight to be appropriately difficult (he was still harder than any of the Blights). Link's return to Hyrule Castle at the end of the game was what broke that stasis. You're allowed to have your own opinion but personally I found that BotW finally dethroned OoT's 18 year reign as greatest Zelda game, and BotW will be a very serious contender for greatest game of the 2010s. --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiCtAUrZbUk -- Defeating the Running Man of Ocarina of Time in a race since 01/17/2009. -- ... Zelda never died. She used the Triforce to lock both herself and Ganon away in a state of 100 year stasis. Link's return to Hyrule Castle at the end of the game was what broke that stasis. I think it's kept ambiguous enough, her status, through the game. You're not really sure if she's even alive in there, you just have the assurance that she's fighting. After 100 years who knows what might have changed about her That they went with just keeping her the same age was really a safe decision but really lame too, IMO They should have resurrected the other Champions too or just made it so that Zelda was dead the whole time I think that would have had a better impact on me I also did not like the riding around waiting for arrows to shoot part --- ...
