What are some of your favorite father-child relationships in video games?

For me, when I was young, Fox McCloud following in the footsteps of his father was touching. The ending of Star Fox 64 practically sent chills down my spine.

I also found it interesting in Super Mario Sunshine how Bowser raised his son into thinking that Mario was the kidnapper.

Finally, in Disgaea 3, I like how Mao's strained relationship with his father started on a funny note (him being angry over his dad deleting his video game data) but evolved into something more serious... one of the few serious notes in the game.

Not a video game but my favorite part of the Star Wars prequels is seeing Boba Fett and his dad together.

Obviously Kratos and Atreus, Sly and Conner, and Jak and Damas. The way things play out between Tir and Teo McDohl in Suikoden is also kind of interesting, how your own father is the only one of the five generals you feel obligated to kill (and can't spare), despite the pair having a good relationship throughout the game. King Daphnes from Wind Waker had to make some tough decisions, but his intentions solidify him as a decent father. And of course, we can't forget about Jecht and Tidus, Braska and Yuna, Laguna and Squall, or Noctis and Regis. If we're counting loco parentis, I'd put Sojiro Sakura on the list as well.
