I was almost run off the road today heading to work, was coming onto the highway/freeway and had my left turn signal on so I could merge into traffic.

Shithead in a black pickup truck driver behind me is tailgating like its going out of style and a red pickup truck on my left is not only failing to let me merge into traffic but speeds the fuck up.

I honked my horn but I literally drive on to the shoulder so this fuck face does not hit my car causing an accident and so I can actually get to my job.

People like poster number two are the problem and deserve their licenses taken away.

I never have this issue though.

Everyone acts like it happens to them on a daily basis and I honestly can't say I've seen it more than a handful of times in my life.

My solution is to just drive assuming someone's going to change lanes.

Comes in handy when you're on a three-lane highway, you're in the middle lane, and the right lane is an EXIT ONLY lane.

Dumbasses will sit in that lane until they're 500ft from the exit and make a sudden lane change into the middle not giving a fuck if someone else is there or not.

I don't mean that, I'm just saying it's always good to assume a vehicle is going to do something you won't expect. They can be dangerous. I totally agree with OP I hate it when people don't signal and just move, especially when cutting in on the highway/freeway.

I always use my signals, though sometimes I'll do it shortly before lane changes because fuckfaces love to speed up when I indicate that I want to go into their lane. I make sure they're a good distance behind and also my car has great acceleration, so it's all good.
