Hitman 2 and Control both sound great

http://ign.com/articles/2018/06/13/e3-2018-hitman-2-is-more-of-the-same-and-thats-a-very-good-thing?abthid=5b20832ace2bd316360000b6

My target was race driver Sierra Knox, who spends the entirety of the mission engaged in a Formula 1-style contest. A high-speed moving target presents a unique challenge for Hitman, for sure, but its a challenge thats beautifully solved. My method was to dress as event security, visit a parked van with a stashed remote explosive, poison a race mechanic to get his overalls and access keycard, then become a part of Knoxs pit crew, stashing my bomb as she stopped for a tune-up, before detonating it while watching from the stands.

But the pit crew solution comes with three distinct opportunities. I could have dressed as a chef, stolen sugar from the kitchens, then dumped it into the cars engine to cause an accident. I could also have targeted an entirely different mechanic responsible for using the pneumatic drill, letting me loosen the cars wheels.

But, then again, I could have ignored that idea entirely to collect a sniper rifle and take a shot from a safe distance. One trailer shows 47 detonating bombs under the winners podium. Its clear that the solutions are numerous, and the means of getting to them near-infinite. Its not a new feeling for Hitman, but its a very welcome return.

In fact, even new mechanics are few and far between, and even when they are new, its tending toward the 'small but neat' end of the scale. An example: mirrors are now active, meaning NPCs can now be alerted by your reflection approaching behind them in a bathroom, or around corners. Its small but important, and only adds to the feeling of being some stalking spectre of death - theres something deliciously horror villain-esque about the idea of waiting to make your move behind a victim until they notice you.

You play Jesse Faden (played by Quantum Breaks Courtney Hope), the new director of the Federal Bureau of Control. Shes been promoted there in the wake of the death of the previous director, and with that promotion comes certain...abilities, which will be useful in defending against The Hiss, a strange force that has invaded our reality and corrupted Bureau workers. She can use telekinetic abilities like Shield, which pulls clocks off of walls and chunks of nearby columns and holds them in front of her defensively, as well as Launch, which does the same but turns that debris around as an offensive weapon (at one point later in the demo, Faden flung a forklift at a target). She can also levitate, which became more useful the longer my demo went because the physics-defying three-dimensional transitions that got more and more outlandish the deeper inside the Bureau headquarters Faden went -- a space called The Oldest Place. And she even becomes the keeper of a nifty transforming pistol that only the Director can wield.

Gameplay-wise, Remedy describes Control as an open-ended sandbox experience. Evidently there will be main missions as well as side missions, the latter of which will contain some of Controls toughest challenges. Remedy also said that the Directors work is never done, which is a cheeky way of basically saying (I think) that youll be able to keep playing even after the end credits roll. And Jesses Director abilities can be upgraded as the campaign progresses too.

Also I don't think people realize that Spider-man also has an open world demo on the showfloor. Remember when people said it was downgraded?

Control looks sorta like a combo of Alan Wake and Quantum Break. The concept of the Old House sounds like something they intended for Alan Wake 2.
