I come home and see my overweight mother and my obese brother.

Work out, in my case anyway.

I eat like shit and still have a moderate six pack.

I have tons of time to kill most of that time is spent sitting down or laying down if I halved my Activity level and sedentry level I'd lose weight?

Let me put it this way. When I go to canes, I can hardly finish a 3 finger combo and I get unsweetened tea. But I've seen larger people put down a caniac combo with soda or sweet tea like it was nothing.

Calories in = calories out.

You can eat junk food. Skinny people physically eat much less of it though. If they're putting back as much as you are in a single session, then they are eating much, much less throughout the rest of the day. If I indulge and actually finish an entire full entree at most restaurants or fast food places, it's usually because I skipped a meal or two earlier in the day and won't eat for the rest of the day.

People underestimate how calorically dense junk food really is. You can eat a hot and spicy with small fries and feel full if you give the calories time to digest. Our bodies are not very quick at signaling when we're "full." If you continue eating and feel full at some point while you are still eating, then it means you over ate. Simple as that.

Eat 50-75% of the portion sizes you normally do, finish a glass of water, and wait 15 minutes before deciding if you want to eat more. Guaranteed you feel just as full and satisfied than had you continued stuffing your face with food.

Exercise plays a role, but it takes pretty moderate to intense exercise at 30 minutes to lose like 300-500 calories. If you do a light jog, it'll take an hour or more to lose that much. You can eat that much in a cookie or two and that's easy to eat.

It's mostly our dietary habits. Sure, becoming active from a sedentary state will help you lose weight if you don't change your dietary habits. Run at a 5-7 mph on the treadmill for 45 minutes everyday and you'll probably lose a pound or two a week. But if you ever stop that level of activity you'll gain it back.

Simply eat 20% less of your plate at every meal, cut out soda/sugary drinks, and don't eat snacks in between meals. You'll lose a lot more.

It could be the medicine though I calcuate the past four months I eat in around 3k calories and I"m 5'4 though for a taller person that is okay but for my short stature its death.

There's an enormous fat fuck where I work and he'll sit down near me with his 7 whoppers and he eats like a fucking slob. As soon as I see him coming I have to get up and leave or I would probably drop kick his whoppers through the window.

So don't. Most of the time any medicine that has weight gain as a side effect is mediated through a larger appetite.

The sensation of hunger won't kill you. Not eating that much won't put you at risk for malnourishment. If you want to lose weight, eat less. Period.

Ah fair enough. I have it maybe once a week, but usually it's Nando's and I get the chicken. It's the chips (fries for Americans) that really get me - regular chips has 414 calories and 60 grams of carbs... ridiculous

For me I have a physical demanding job which I move around all the shift. Also I eat a lot of protein which speeds up metabolism.

I just had a chicken salad and jello I'm gonna do some leg lifts and bicep curls at 10 eastern just to get my cardio up

That's not the end of the world at least. You're not on My 600lb Life or anything.

Just try to stay active more and eat as healthy as possible 6 days a week. The other 1 day you can have fast food, but moderate it and eat normal portions (aka no more than a burger and fries; diet soda)

I did invisble bench press with two soup cans

and bicep curls with a chunkys soup can

then I walked in place for 11 mins

then I walked for 30 mins burned about 300 calories while only eating a salad and jello for dinner after having a big mac combo with Regular coke

Genetics. They're either your friend or your enemy. I lost 30lbs a couple summers ago by just cutting back on my sugar consumption. I build muscle easily and lose fat easily. My cousin is husky and lost all his hair in his early twenties. Heredity is never fair.
